My Testimony Poem
Amsterdam had always been
A dangerous city for the jews,
Never the less we still continued
To hope that by the grace of god
We might be saved,
But before we were forced to flee
Our hopes were in vain,
The germans controlled almost all of Europe,
But there was one refuge still reman.
A dangerous city for the jews,
Never the less we still continued
To hope that by the grace of god
We might be saved,
But before we were forced to flee
Our hopes were in vain,
The germans controlled almost all of Europe,
But there was one refuge still reman.
